1. Website Visitor Navigation: If someone visits your website and cannot find specifically what they are looking for, a sitemap will help them navigate your site with ease.

2. Search Engine Optimization: In order to ensure that your website is crawled and cached by search engines, you should submit your sitemap to the search engines directly.
